Apocalypse Meow was established in 2008 to raise medical funds for local musician Abigail Henderson, who had been diagnosed with cancer. Compelled to give back to the community, she co-founded MMF to connect musicians to health care resources. Apocalypse Meow is our primary event for Abby’s Fund For Musicians’ Health Care — providing area musicians and industry workers with essential health care grants. The fund has given out more than $240,000 since its inception.
